The Sechelt Legion Branch 140 is proud to lead the Sechelt Remembrance Day Parade and conduct the Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Legion’s Cenotaph on Cowrie Street.

All First Responder organizations as well as Community Service Groups and youth groups from Wilson Creek through Halfmoon Bay are welcome to join in the parade.  We will muster in the Legion parking at 5591 Wharf Avenue lot no later than 10:15 AM and will step off at 10:45.  

Highway 101 will be closed between 10:30 and noon between Mermaid and Inlet Avenue, and south bound traffic will be diverted on Teredo Street just past the Coast Reporter building. Drivers please plan your route accordingly and be respectful of the traffic control personnel and the parade. 

Everyone is welcome to join us at the Sechelt Legion after the ceremony.  Our kitchen and lounge will be open following the ceremony and we will have live entertainment, featuring Joanne Chiasson, the Coast Fiddlers and the cast from Sh-Boom.
